Why OK2GO exists
Most disagreements between two people share one root: nothing was said clearly, or nothing was remembered the same way afterwards. We built OK2GO because the fix is simple — say it clearly, once, together — and because software can make that take two minutes instead of an awkward hour.
OK2GO is not paperwork replacing trust. It is the opposite: two people who respect each other enough to be explicit. The photo, the sobriety check, the signatures — each step exists so that both people can rely on the record being real, mutual, and made with a clear head.
We are also aware of what came before us. Roughly a dozen apps have tried this since 2014 and nearly all of them oversold what software can do. We have written down what OK2GO cannot do and published it, because we would rather you read it from us.
What we believe
- Clarity is a form of respect.
- Consent can always be withdrawn. A record captures a moment of agreement — it never overrides a later "no", and either person can withdraw it with one tap.
- Nobody should have to hand their phone to the other person to agree to something. Two accounts, two devices, two timelines.
- A record is only fair if both people hold the same one, with the same rights over it.
- Privacy is non-negotiable: your records belong to the two of you, not to us and not to advertisers.
